The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Lankan Ward of Pankshin Local Government has told the people that a vote for the party is vote to rescue Nigeria. This was the submission of speakers as the party in the ward embarked on a unit to unit rally in line with the party’s strategy of door to door. The rallies held Wednesday 22nd February 2023 in all the polling units in Lankan Ward.
Convener of the Lankan Ward PDP Engagement and former Director of Press and Public Affairs to Gov Jang, Mr James Mannok said PDP candidates in the Saturday 25th February 2023 elections, Alh Atiku Abubakar for President, Amb G. Y. Gotom for Plateau Central Senate and Ziphion Chrisanthus Terkop for Pankshin, Kanke, Kanam Federal House of Representatives and in subsequent elections have capacity to deliver on a better Nigeria.
He noted thot the PDP has been tasted in running Nigeria and the difference is clear. He urged them not to allow themselves to be swayed by sentiments from voting PDP which has been tasted.
The PDP Pankshin South House of Assembly candidate, Mrs Salome Wanglek who was present urged the people to vote all PDP candidates in the Saturday elections to rescue them from poverty and hardship they are facing. She noted that the only way they can change their situation is by voting the failed APC government out.
Lankan Ward PDP Chairman, Satvul Gujor on his part said that the people should vote for the candidates of PDP top to bottom based on party’s legacies of humane policies.
Other speakers who included party officials, stakeholders and the unit party officials spoke of PDPs determination to recover Nigeria and urged the electorates to vote 5/5. The rallies which were like a carnival also featured a courtesy on the on the community leaders by the Party Officials and stakeholders.
Stakeholders on the team include Prof Chris Yilgwan, Mr Haruna Walle, Amb Chikas Kumle, Dr Vrenglong Dafur, Mr James Watten, Mr Peter Tingkol, Mr George Dakusuk and Prof Philibus Dami .
