INEC Nigeria is taking this criminality to a higher level.
It approached the foreign company that is hosting its server to delete the entire data on the server. The company was perplexed on such a demand. So it demanded court documents before it can wipe off the server.
INEC approached the Court to get an injunction lying it wants to reconfigure BVAS to enable it conduct the gubernatorial and HoA elections on Saturday.
It is noteworthy that INEC doesn’t need to reconfigure BVAS or whatever to enable it conduct the remaining elections, as the storage is not full, but almost unlimited and secured in the Cloud. Assuming the storage allocated to INEC is full, INEC should ask the company to increase the storage, instead of deleting data to create more space. This is more honourable and straightforward thing to do.
This is a criminal act being perpetrated by Mahmood, and he MUST be stopped.
Lend your voice that the court should not grant an injunction to INEC because it doesn’t want to reconfigure BVAS, but to delete the entire data on the server, so that the only presidential results available anywhere would be the sham he announced.
